The power of the teaching and learning environment will influence and promote learning is significant. Teaching and learning resources are an essential part of teaching, and provide important opportunities for students to explore ideas and knowledge, collaborate, solve problems and develop knowledge and skills.

In the topics below you will find a number of shared, teaching and learning resource, which I would encourage you to change and embed into your teaching.

All organisations that work with or come into contact with children or Young people should have safeguarding polices and procedures to ensure that every child, regardless of their age, gender, religion or ethnicity, can be protected from harm.

The Prevent duty is the duty in the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 on specified authorities, in the exercise of their functions, to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism. Expiry or review date

To assess the candidate assessor's knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices that underpin assessment.

To assess the candidates assessor's performance in assessing occupational competence in an individual work environment. 

To assess the candidate assessor's performance in assessing vocational skills and understanding in environments other than the workplace- For example workshops, classrooms or other training environments. 

These are competency based qualifications designed for those who are responsible for the quality assurance of qualifications either internally for a training provider for example or externally for an Awarding Organisation for example.

The Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice is intended for those who maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre.
